Through the Colonial Academic Alliance, the 12 institutions of the CAA collaborate on programs designed to provide new opportunities for students and faculty and to share academic resources.
One of their signature programs is their annual Undergraduate Research Conference, held each spring on one of the members' campuses. This year, the conference will be at Hofstra University on April 8-10; more than 100 students are expected to attend.
Over the years, groups have been featured at the individual conferences hosted by different universities. In conjunction with this year’s conference, they'd like to invite the CAA a cappella groups to perform in their first A CAApella festival on Saturday evening, April 9, at Hofstra University.
8 to the Bar has been cordially invited to attend. If you're in the area or you're just a hardcore 8bar fan who loves roadtrips, come out and see us perform along with Hofstra's groups! |

Most of the families that stay at the PRMH have children in the Cardiac, Neonatal, or Oncology units. We are hoping that by having groups from around the area, we can promote this organization and its touching mission.
