| Hello Again Everyone!
Spring is in the air again at Drexel University, and we have a lot of exiciting opportunities for you to catch up on your fix of Drexel's 8 to the Bar, but first...
We'd like to extend a huge Thanks to all of the lovely fan support that we received in both the Quarter-Final and Semi-Final rounds of this years ICCA tournament. Your outstanding dedication to our group has yielded us a reputation as a "perennial crowd favorite" (Mike Chin The A Capella Blog). With your help, I am proud to announce that 8 to the Bar is now ranked as a top-40 a capella group in the country! We look forward to keeping up this level of success in ICCA tournaments to come.
Also, we'd like to once again thank M&T Bank, Carlisle United Way, and the rest of the volunteers/sponsors for the PA Glee Competition last Saturday (April 21st). With the support of our fans (and a little bit of luck) 8 to the Bar knocked off the defending champion Dickinson College Octals to win both the Collegiate Division and Overall Grand Champion honors. Hats off to all of the other competitors for a great show! For more information on the show and Carlisle united way, check out these links:
